Which means that most of us have been pronouncing the name Llewellyn incorrectly. The ll in Welsh is pronounced very, very differently to the ll in english.<br><br>Closer to a kl, iirc.

In Welsh, or at least the dialect I was brought up on, it's pronounced "Thlew-ell-en"<br><br>The last "ll" is not pronouced as the first as a "y" follows it, creating a different syllabal.
