I'd rather see a TV show, because I don't really know what could be done in a video game. Don't know who could do the voices, though.

TV show. I would love to see Millie in motion.

In order to function as a video game, the game would have to be too far removed from the nature of the comic. Offhand, the only successful transitions are from comics that already have a deal of action, most of them comic books rather than strips. (I wonder how the Bone game will turn out.)

As for the TV show, if DCS has the attention span to write enough 10-minute episodes, I could dig my batty persona showing up as long as I wasn't supposed to be an obstacle.

Please save me, I'm here typing and they put on the radio station that plays Christmas music a month before Christmas and play it twenty-hours a day. I'm starting to get tired of it.

Someone throw me a lifesaver!

Oh! Way to throw us not only OT but out of the stream of consciousness, AB86. Well, I'll wade back in:

Ever notice the audio similarity between "lifesaver" and "light saber"?

I really don't want either. Their voices are in my head, and anything would be a dissapointment. You can't capture the magic of static media in the moving.

Even though Lord of the Rings was pretty nifty, it was nothing on the book. I'm not a fan, but I assume the same is true of Harry Potter too?

Just look at *shudder* Garfield to see how bad it can be. Not that Garfield was any good as a cartoon anyways. Stupid fat gimp.

Neither. O&M has proven that it works best as a webcomic by lasting this long without any major changes. Any other medium would destroy the combination of dynamics that make it "work".

Just because the vast majority of current mainstreme games are... Umm... Heavially violent, heavially combat orientated, etc. (or sport sims. Which are worse), surely titles like Animal Crossing, Harvest Moon, even The Sims, Sim City and The Movies, show that games don't have to be of that nature to work as games. Also the 2d Sonic titles, Yoshi's Touch & Go, Kirby's Canvas Curse, Klonoa 2, etc... Show that there's a market for traditional style games we were playing on the Nes, c64 and Spectrum? (by which I mean Manic Minor, the entire dizzy series (check it out if you've never heard of that series - aside from the last and worst (oddly it was the montage of all the other ones, essentially) it didn't get outside of Europe to my knowledge), Flimbo's Quest, Head over Heels, etc)

As for a tv show I could see it working akin to how the Charley Brown and Snoopy Show worked. A thirty minute show (well, 25 minutes ignoring commercials) consisting of six or seven very short sketches based upon the original comics.

Not sure which I'd prefer to be honest. If done right, a videogame would be rather nice. Equally, done right, a cartoon series would also be nice. As would audio drama.

...Whatever happened to that project, anyway?

You guys do know that my O&M video game isn't canned, right? No, it's still living, if a little slow in the way of work.
I'm here, you just can't see me!

Triggerpoint is my not so new webcomic, and currently under heavy work before it resurfaces.

I would prefer a TV show, but I would prolly never be able to see it so I would have to go with a video game, and if it is modable we can make it into an O&M Show
