<Dr_Dos> Hmmm... over 3 years later: http://ozyandmillie.org/1999/om19990317.html and http://www.ozyandmillie.org/2002/om20020409.html 2nd panels.
<ShadowRage> I would know
<_5hfifty> heh
* _5hfifty has quit IRC (Quit: the ring! i can't believe you fell for the oldest trick in the book! what a goof! what's with you man!? come on!)
<ShadowRage> http://ozyandmillie.org/1999/om19990319 ... Besides the obvious ones such as the school or the characters homes.

there was a sunday strip on the same local as the first two links. It was one where millie said that it was much more exiting to go down and walk in the current, that it wasn't dangerouse. Ozy jumps down, and finds "the one spot that refutes (millies) analagy." can't find it now though.

I think it's nice how Ozy and Millie are still taking walks or sitting or what have you in the same places as they did years ago.

thats what i always accepted it as. Actually, that log, for whatever reason, reminds me of the book "Bridge to Teribathia", despite the fact that the children in that used a rope to swing across, not a log.
That was such a depressing book... i disliked it, but had to read it. Stupid girl, having to die by hitting her head on a rock...

There's nothing wrong with using the same senery.

I'm not saying there is. It's just that I was surprised that years later a scene was repeated, not only within a month or so when it's still (somewhat) on your mind.

Edit:

http://www.ozyandmillie.net/2001/om2001 ...
Here's the log again, plus there is the time where Ozy finds the only deep spot in the creek...

And of course there's that strip where Llwellyn and Ms. Mudd walk and talk about this exact subject, passing a background full of coffeeshops i think.

I hate it when comic strips do that.

No no, that thing it did in the strip where they were walking down the 'coffee street' commenting on how compics sometimes have repeated senery.
I hate stuff like that, and it's happened a few times in Ozy and Millie.
