Another post from David's LiveJournal involving voiceovers.

In related news, does anyone have the time to go searching for samples of Pamela Segall's voiceover work? She played Lucky on "101 Dalmatians, the Series" and Dewey on "Quack Pack," using a voice that I think would work well for Ozy.

Vey interesting but DCS is right. It does sound a little too much like a girl to be ozy. But the fact that hes doing this means hes contemplating doing an animated ozy and millie thing?! So... happy...

That sounds very similar to that sample he picked out to be close to a voice that Millie would have a while back.
Only this is more male, because he is male.

I'd love to see this. As for the voice, yeah. It did seem a little high. I could possibly see it working for Millie though. I kinda liked his second version though.

I'm such a dork... I was bored so I tweaked theotherbaldwin's Stephan voice recording a little bit.

http://board.c8world.com/index.php?act= ... id=1615
Who sleeps shall awake, greeting the shadows from the sun
Who sleeps shall awake, looking through the window of our lives
Waiting for the moment to arrive...
Show us the silence in the rise,
So that we may someday understand...

I kinda like them, but there is way too much reverb.

If O&M were set in North-west England rather than Washington, then I'd love to have a serious go at this. Having said that, there are notable similarities: both have rainy main cities with similar populations (Manchester and Seattle respectively) and both feature some nice mountains (the Lake District in NWE's case). Completely different accents though.

As it is though, the best I can offer is...

I'm sorry to say, but it's the Peak District (Cheshire, Derbyshire, Lancashire) that's in the NW. THe Lake District is Cumbria, and that's miles away, above Liverpool, and parrallel to York.

Sorry...but I get a little short when people pretend my national park doesn't exist.

On the topic, I've always imagined Ozy sounding a little like Malcom from MITM, but before he hit puberty.

For Millie, That girl from "Taken" (Whaddaya mean no one saw it!)

Avery would be any "aw that is sooo cool" kind of voice. Maybe like Griff from SSX 3

Trevor would be less geekish than he looks. Something like Radar from MASH, only younger.
