Ozy and Millie aging?
Hi all,

I'm new to these forums (and to O&M). A good friend pointed me to the strip a few days ago, and I've managed to read every strip available in the archives in the intervening period. While I enjoyed the strip immensely, I did have one question -- are Ozy and Millie getting older? It seemed to me that they were initially 8 years old and become 10 year olds at some point, and they do seem to have lived through several Christmases, but they don't appear to have been aging at a normal rate. I just ask because I was pondering the interesting material that the strip might explore if it were to be able to talk about the social issues and character development involved in transitioning to middle school or high school.

Thanks.

Welcome!
Here's a nice lil' read for ye.
There are other topics you might be interested in seeing on this subject; you just have to look around. For example, some time back we were treated with the images of a
teenage Millie and then a teenage Ozy. As you can imagine, there was some buzz associated with that.

I've wondered about their aging too.
Personally, I'd like it if they aged at one quarter the rate of humans.
