If I recall from the FAQ page, Ozy technically should have molted his greyish fur for pure white ahwile ago, or as an anthromorph, will in a few years. I prefer the grey tones to an albinoish fur, and maybe the Llewellyn Hair Curse has some article that makes him keep his fur the same color or something, but just wanted to point this and a few other things out (since I cant compete with Caigan/Allison/Ghostway/Octan's coloring skill), ANYONES drawing prowess, etc.
*edit*
those "other things" will be posted as soon as i can remember them. I have a craving for a root beer float and some movies.

Um, with all due respect, what exactly are you talking about? From the FAQ (bolded for emphasis):

Quote:

17. What species is Ozy?

A small arctic fox. I'm not sure why he isn't white in winter. I used to think he was a wolf, but then a friend showed me some pictures of arctic fox kits which were absolute ringers for how I draw Ozy. This convinced me. It has also resulted in some confusion.

So he's not supposed to molt.

So out of all the events and oddities of Ozy and Millie...

You focus on a slight fur tone difference? <img src='

i'm pretty sure it was decided that the Llewellyn hair curse was only placed upoun Percival Smaug Llewellyn because he was, ironically, a dragon, and therefore had no hair, so he would never figure out that gypsies are fake.

either that, or Llewellyn made it up.

well, still, it wasn't real because of the years that DCS didn't think of the hair loss thing.

That's true.

Where he's an anthromorph the change in fur color would start 1-4 years from the point now in the comic strip. I sometimes wondered about it too, but from the very beginning, Simpson has always colored Ozy with some grey, even when the scenery was white with snow, so I just let it go assuming that's the way it ought to be anyway.

Come to think of it, my furry identity should lose his color in the winter too, although technically, it does when I forget to draw in the spots. <img src='

why doesn't Ozy like a black vest? them things are so proffessional.

and, the vortex, it's more of a portal than a thing that sucks up space. Vortex is just a good word.
