This is a testimony to what happens when someone like me is too lazy to do homework and too bored to goof off properly. I found that O&M has an entry in the Wikipedia, that online compendium of user-submitted information on almost everything.

Problem is, it's way too short. There needs to be at least a paragraph describing the characters or something. I'd fix it myself, but...I'm not very good at doing this sort of writing. Anyone out there who wants to give it a try can go ahead: it's at
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ozy_and_Millie. Anyone can edit entries, but please, do a good job, for David's sake. <img src='

I actually know one of the guys who runs Wiki. Maybe my fan-ness of O&M rubbed off on him and he let it through.

Well, the theory of wiki (I think) is that if it's not completely stupid to have it in, relevent to the topic it's in, or blatently false, it's considered appropriate to stay. As in, an article on a webcomic would be considered a legitimate wiki article

The problem I have with wiki is that while lots of writers = high variety, no screening of writers to gain that kinda reduces the reliability of the data.

I think the fact that they call it an "encyclopedia" makes people think twice before submitting substandard articles. Plus, I would guess there were many articles in it to start out, written by good writers, which set the tone for the rest.

Worse, from what I've seen so far, is <a href='

Update: I've finally gotten up the nerve to expand the "Ozy and Millie" entry, giving the characters their own section (all of it written by me). It still needs some work though, especially Millie's description. And in anticipation of your complaints, I don't think Ms. Sorkowitz and Principal Vine are important enough to be included -- the former doesn't really have a personality, and the latter hasn't been featured in years. (Actually, I can't remember the last time Jeremy showed up either.)

Any suggestions?

Oh. Of course. Duh. * Slaps face *

Dr. Wahnsinnig hasn't been around for so long I didn't even realize I left her out too. But I think she and Mr. Vine have pretty much crept out of the cast. There's really not much more Simpson can say about the public school system.
