Ok, we know (or at least were told by llewyn) that Ozzie was adopted from an orphanage at about the age of 1. How'd he get there? ... let the conspiracy theories begin...

Ozzie was a freind of Llewyns from the other side of the couch. Rather than let him regress back into nothingness, Lllewyn brought him here and left him at the orphanage (to have some record of his existance) came back a little while latter and picked him back up.

I am of the old school of thought - Ozy was just left there by some retro hippies and Llewelyn, I forget his motives, but I'm sure someone'll dig them out, but anyway he went and got Ozy.

Perhaps, but Locke seems to have some memory of his past, whereas Ozy does not, or at least has never suggested that he does.

Intriguing theory, however. I think Llewellen spends more time beyond the couch than he lets on.

People from the other side of the couch don't age like people on this side of the couch just because they move to this side of the couch. Otherwise Locke could have just not gone back to the couch.

That doesn't necessarily mean he didn't know Ozy before.

The more I think about it, the more interesting this idea seems. Even if DC Simpson doesn't like it, it'd make for great apocrypha.

EDIT: However, this strip seems to negate the theory.

Hmmm...this makes too much sense. It scares me.

To be perfectly honest, I don't really like this theory. There are too many holes, and it just plain doesn't make sense to begin with. Why would Llewellyn bother to tamper with the natural order of a different reality? That doesn't sound like him. He may toy around with politics and the media, but I don't see him abusing the natural processes of life's laws. Even "bizarre" has its limits. (By the way, you spelled "bizarre" wrong. ) I highly doubt DCS would have even considered it, much less like this theory, or even is aware of it. This is, entirely, your idea after all and not nescessarily anyone else's.

How about the "Ozy was orphaned" theory? That sounds like a reasonable theory to me. How he was orphaned would be the question, at least in my mind. You can come up with all the "bizarre" ways in which this happened as you like.

I always had this weird thought thought that Ozy's bilogical father was dead, but his mother was still out there somewhere doing some...things. Yeah...God that's corny.

Ozy was dropped here by aliens from jupiter one moonlit night, whilst the dragons from all around were on Mt Fuji. As it happened, there were some that wanted to eat Ozy, but no, Llewellyn stepped through a portal from the other side of the couch and saved him.

See? Perfectly believable!
