Maybe it's better if O&M stays where the people who appreciate it are. People in general don't like new things, so they'll probably avoid it or just not like it anyway.

well, first off, i wasn't turned down outright. I still can send in that portfolio... i've just been dealing with a bunch of other things first.

Secondly, it's come to my attention that the Washington Post in August runs new comics to give them a test run, and keeps the good ones. THAT has promis, if nothing else does!

I'd support it. Trouble is, I don't get the Washington Post, so we need to find people who do and get their support.

after several months of inactivity in this thread, i'm unpinning it. no need for it to be here, i think, at this point... unless anyone else is gonna give this a shot. The Frederick News Post never got back to me, but I never did get to present them the powerpoint presentation on a disk. It may be worth trying again at some point, but there's too much on my plate, personally, for a bit.

**sigh**

In all reality, I think David's plate is quite full at the moment, also. While this is truely a worthy goal, nobody is going to be capable of seriously considering it for awhile. I think you're right, FoxChild; this is something to consider at a later date.
Still mostly here.
