He was granted mod powers as the Lady of the Lake extended her arm and granted upon him Excalubur--NOW JUST BECAUSE SOME WATERY OLD TART THREW A SWORD AT YOU DOES NOT GRANT SUPREME EXECUTIVE POWER! (note: that's the one line from MP and the Holy Grail that I could never memorize, it's a very summarized, reduced, partially butchered version, my apologies to those who know the line, I am ashamed).
