How did you find O&M?
I am quickly reminded of Millie and her metamorphosis. In color, no less.

Her conclusion was right, going through such a mental metamorphisis is way to much trouble for the average person, and it's often better to just let you're achievements towards other means do it for you.

I no longer would recomend to anyone to try and quickly try to reach a higher state of thought. It's not something that is easy to do quickly, but instead requires great pains to do quickly. I would apologize to those I had recomended such actions to in the past.

I discovered the strip over on the Mynarski Forest strip...a member there had it in his sig I believe (can't remember offhand)...though when I was reading the archived strips, I ran across the one with Ozy and Millie taking the baseball from the field, and the kids chasing them. It seemed oddly familiar and I could have sworn I saw the same strip in the Washington Post a couple years ago...(or it could have just been me)...but I KNOW I've seen that strip before...

And I found it as Steve talked about it on MSN Messenger. I came, and now I can't leave....

Ah, the early "Planet Q" phase. I believe this strip is the one you are talking about.

The Historical Curiosities page says this about the series:

Quote:

...The second is a bit longer, a bit more involved and a bit better drawn, though in some ways it has a similar plot. It's slicker than the original, though that's a loose and relative term.

Lets see. It was a cold october evening. I think. I was on gamebanshee, my first forum. I clicked a link and found... El Goonish Shive, where everyone is an O&M fan. I clicked a link, didn't like it, decided to give it another chance and was captured.

Done
