Section 8.6 to be specific. A brand can be named twice, or two brands can be named within a gameshow, and in a viewer competition a brand can only be named when viewers are being told how to enter. I think it's a case of 'as such, most programmes decide it's easier just not to bother')

Yeah, but respect for tracking down the actual laws.

The funniest thing is that I'm working a 40-hour week but I can't buy an aerosol to decorate a christmas tree. I could get married, have kids, smoke, drive (next year), get a mortgage, a house, a gun and gamble all my earnings away and I still wouldn't be able to buy some spray on snow to decorate that damn tree.

Isn't UK law fun?

I thaught that was shop policy rather than a legal thing, actually. Kinda like how it's legal to buy alcoholic products at 18 but some shops won't serve you until you're 21...

I don't look into things to prove my point or disprove someone else, relax. And the aerosol thing being a law, unfortunately, wouldn't suprise me.

...Plus I have no clue how to find a law relating to that, I just happened to know the name of the broadcasting regulation people

The school gave it to everyone in Year 7 saying no to do drugs, they're bad, if u do talk to ppl about it like parents and teachers, tells u street name for drugs (prob s out of date) and legalites/jail sentences for posession/intent to supply/supplying. Also the effects if u take it, how adictive they are, stuff like that.

That thing was.. odd. As I recall (considering I haven't seen the thing for years) it includes caffine.

Caffeine is actually quite addictive. Notice how many people can't function in the morning before they have their morning cup or three.
