I think Simpson should make the posters, cuz he's not limited to the tiny pixelized images we have acess only to.

I could vectorize the pixelated versions, but that could take a while. I would need to be committed to the project.

That would be really good, if you do do it, I'll give you a trophy for doing such a task.<br>But before you do anything of thge sort you'd have to know what you're going to vectorize.<br>BTW: What do you use as a vector-image editor? Is it free?

I don't know any free vector image editors. I used to know free versions of everything. Man, I've really lost it.<br><br>Of course, some would argue that anything is free if you know where look... About which, you will hear no more from me.

Ohhhh Shiney!<br><br><br><br>I think if this thing will ever get off the ground a small group of people (<10, probably <8 or even <6) should get together and discuss every aspect in this in a live medium (like a chat). If enerybody just throws out their varius ideas it will never get off the ground. I think if people are serious about this they should set up a thread to nominate and ellect 5 or so people that should plan this out. Every detail.

we have to make have inside jokes. like, a single black or dark blue shirt with a single line or so of white text with a single inside joke. like:<br><br><br>"Oooohh... shiny!

The biggest thing is that any Define Cynical merchandise would have to be membership-based, not Ozy and Millie-based. If we're making chicken hats and Llewellyn Inaction Figures, I think we should send the products to David so that he gets the profit. It's his product, after all.<br><br>I'm also noting that you're catering to a very small audience. How many people would buy the stuff? Define Cynical membership is less than 200, and not all would be interested in this. There might be a problem covering basic production costs...<br><br>I'm not trying to kill the idea, just point out a few things.
Still mostly here.

it's produced on an "as need" basis. Midnight has a CP store, and it's, I believe, a certain percentage of what is sold. I'm pretty sure that there isn't any base fee.

But if someone did make somethign like a chiken hat or a Llewellyn inaction figure then they should certanly get some money too. That is totaly diferent form lets say.. a t-shirt design. This would obviously be worked out in-between the invetor of such a contraption ond DCS. I don't think DC would have any claim over it. I think this is more for DC t-shirt designs and what not. It dosn't have to be O&M bassed. I bet Tavis' shirts would sell like hot cakeks, especialy if the smeld like hot cakes.

I think the best approach to this is finding stuff that is uniquely Define Cynical or more precisely uniquely the community that makes up Define Cynical. The t-shirt thing sticks out, as do any random absurdities uttered and later quoted by members in the board to the point of being a running gag. Pyromaniacal quotes come to mind, as do "Oooh, shiny!", "Surrender your candy!", and lately the phenomenon of spontaneous 'sploding by its members.

You have to pay if you want more than one design on the same type of item, however; for example, two different t-shirt designs require a fee. I believe said fee is five dollars a month to have as much stuff as you want in the store. Just so you know...

hmm, that would be WAY too risky to sell stuff from (adult sites) or whatever since you have to pay to be a member.<br><br>*FoxChild: sorry, got a few complaints about this.*
