Or perhaps it is because here, everything can end After Ever Happily. Whereas in life, it seldom does.
Just a walking contradiction, partly truth and partly fiction, taking every wrong direction on his lonely way back home.

(And there are a lot of wrong directions on that lonely way back home.)

Barring the "Blondie" route, which I imagine DCS has too much dignity to pursue.
I actually thought about Blondie when I wrote that, but there's really no escape. The comic will just HAVE to end one day.
Why is it so common to want to see relationships? this isn't some drama soap opera :@
'cause people like the warm fuzzies that (properly handled) romance gives off :wag:
Romance is the fire in the hearth, it can give the blaze for warmth and it can also give the spark that'll burn down the house.

Depends who tends it, and why, and how well.

Of course. I was making the comment specifically about a "what if" situation where Ozy and Millie got together.

I think a lot of people who are unlucky at love themselves like to live vicariously through fictional characters.................

Ah well. Live and let live.

You know, all of this conversation gives me an idea for an Ozy and Millie fan comic.....(no, not with any love involved, shut up)

I'm unsuccessful at love. Ask my ex, she'll draw diagrams and produce flow charts on the subject.

"You can never be in a happy relationship until you can be happy being single."

Wise words, and they're words I live by, mostly because I don't care much for romance.
If you do not repent, I will come to you and remove your lampstand from its place. (Revelation 2:5, NIV)

This is why compromise is important. You should have promised to use the bathroom.
