O&M: the game
Yes, most definately. I hope to get this engine done by the end of next week.

That's a test sprite that took me about five minutes. And yes, it'll be a good amount sooner thanks to the Game Maker tutorials I suddenly remembered.

Plus, Mr. Simpson probably has enough to do already.

Edit: I've made the base/standing sprites by editing the cast pics a bit. Here you are:

Note: If editing them to make running, jumping, ect sprites, use the ones I linked to on the O&M Game forum, as they are better quality. You'll need either Game Maker or Paint Shop Pro, which are both available for trial. It's all due to the transparency thing in Game Maker.

How rare!

As dead as I thought this tpic was, it was magically brought back from its death. I walk by and watch as my child rises from its grave, beckoning...

Err... Nevermind. Anyway, Ozy isn't totally weak. He can run faster than the football players, apparently. Plus, he's pushing stuff that's on the ground, so it's easier, so there!

Maybe you could do like a player swap type game. Where Millie is the muscle and Ozy is the brains. Millie gets to do the hard stuff whilst Ozy gets the puzzles. A bit like Sonic and Tails, differnent ways to complete the same level depending on who you are. Like Tails could fly and Sonic could run fast, etc.
Exactly as Doog said. Right now our other member is making a test level for the engine. At the moment, the entire plot is done, and a few sprite and items have been implemented.

Items such as a chocolate bar pickup(?) that makes Millie jump higher and run faster, candy that gives you points, anvils, crates, and MEHTUL crates, which are all different interactive objects that you use to get through the level.

Sounds like its shaping up.
Suggestion to include coffee as a powerup. Doubles speed, jump height, etc, but has certain visual effects associated with it - If you've ever played Tetripz you'll know what sort of visual effect I mean.
