I repeat: Ozy and Millie are 10. They have been 10 throughout the entire strip. This has never changed. Simpson is not particularly bothered by the paradox of time moving on while his characters don't age. In fact, I believe that's been intentional and meant to be part of the philosophical theme of the strip.<br><br>Which is why even I was surprised when he announced he was open to doing some teenage O&M strips for the book. As of this moment I believe he's undecided, but ideas have certainly been bandied back and forth.<br><br>And I think you guys are reading way, way too much into those expressions. Those are just purely random pictures so that he could work on their clothes and bodies.<br><br>I also would not worry about a few teenage strips 'predefining' the characters in a way that is restrictive to their evolution. Rain is far too fluid a writer for that. For all his talk of Zen, his writing is very Tao. It lives in the moment and does not let itself get hemmed in.<br><br>This I know, as I have attempted to hem him in frequently towards my ultimate goal of Confucian Cartooning.

And, quite frankly, I don't really care enough about any of their ages to argue about it. I'm here because <i>Ozy and Millie</i> rules [As well as Isolde <!--emo&^_^--><img src='http://definecynical.mancubus.net/forum ... /happy.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='happy.gif' /><!--endemo-->], and to talk to others who also think they rule. The actual age of the characters means little to me, especially Isolde's age... If Isolde's age is true... then there's an annoyingly blaringly obvious dragon conspiracy in effect that's covering up her REAL age... she'll be older than 11 in my book.<br><br>'Nuff said.

We all know that Ozy and Millie will (likely) Become more than friends when they get older. Some sort of Drama leading to something of that nature would really WOW us. =D Like, next year. =O

I thought that too when I started reading the archives but it would be kinda wrong seeing as Ms Mudd and Llewellyn are dating. <br><br>But Millie may have to ask Ozy to a prom (and the other way round, simultaneously) cos they can't find anyone else to go with. Its what I'd expect in a 1-off strip.
