In my defense, I had long forgotten about her. Although it's not mentioned in the poem, the full name I gave Ms. Mudd was Stephanie Millicent Mudd.cougartiger, did you seriously name Ms. Mudd Stephanie when there was already a female aardvark in an OM strip with the same name?
Besides, Stephanie is easier to rhyme than Miliani. Plus, the events of the poem occur in an alternate reality so it's possible her name might be different.

For all this talk about your poem, it better win a damn Pulitzer or something. In my defense, I had long forgotten about her. I hadn't forgotten about that strip. I had already decided that in an alernate reality, names along with events might be different. I DID consider changing her name when DCS revealed it as I was halfway through writing the poem but decided against it as I really wanted it to be seperate from the "official" O&M universe. And when we already knew her name started with an "M" even before her full name was revealed.
I forget which strip it is, but there's one where you can see the sign of her law office and it says "M. Mudd, attorney at law."
I DID alter the poem to include the new info about Locke's aging process along with changing some events I was never happy with but Stephanie kept her name. It works for the poem and I'm happy with it.
As noted in my sig, I gave Locke the first name of Lucius, after a certain Harry Potter character.

DCS will be putting on this site along with "other things soon" according to her DA page. That's a good enough prize for me.For all this talk about your poem, it better win a damn Pulitzer or something.

Actually, Lucius is Draco Malfoy's father. The one with long white hair.Professor Snape? I don't know I do remember there was one person that had that name but I'm not sure which one. I fairly certain that it's one of the professors.

Depends. I can only speak for me, but I always end up favoring whichever one I experience first. Applies to everything from covered songs to adapted books. Like, I saw the first two movies and then started reading the whole series; I barely even remember the first two books but the omissions in the third film bugged me a lot. So, yeah.Ah! Of course. I haven't really been reading the books. Most of the time I just wait for the movie. I know some people are going to say, "But the book is better than the movie".
