Actually, the purpose of the alt attribute is for text that is displayed when the image can't be displayed, whether it's because the image won't load, or because you're using a non-graphical browser, like Lynx. The title attribute is a global attribute for tooltips. It's IE that doesn't display it right, not Mozilla. As always. *hugs Firefox*
