Hi there! We've just started featuring a Comic of the Week at WikiFur, the furry encyclopedia. Being a longtime fan, and seeing as it's one of the most famous comics around, I decided to make Ozy and Millie the first comic featured.
However, I did notice that despite the quality of the comic, the article above isn't really all that great - it gives you the basic facts, but it could go into far more detail. Normally I'd just rewrite it myself, but it seemed a shame to do it that way considering there was such an active community around it already. So . . . would anyone here like to have a go at improving it?
You don't need to have a WikiFur account (unless you want edits to be under your own username) - you can just click here and start typing! If you don't know how to edit wiki pages, you could check out the help first, but it's pretty straightforward. Don't worry about messing it up - you can always go to the history and click to edit a previous revision if it goes wrong (or click back, change the text, and save again).
Thank you for any contributions you choose to make!

Well, the Characters section from the Wikipedia version was written almost entirely by me, so feel free to copy anything out of that you want to.

I've started my mission to write a featured article about "Ozy and Millie" for the German version of the Wikipedia. <-- far away from being complete

*My* raccoon is a featured article, so I theoretically know how to write one; but that was a much easier task. There already existed a large pile of secondary literature about the species, so I only had to summarise the facts in a well-formed manner. Obviously for "Ozy and Millie" that is not the case. Furthermore, it's common standard how a good article about an animal species has to look like, but there are no real standards for articles about comic strips.

There are six feature articles about books in the German Wikipedia so far, so it's in all probability that my article about "Ozy and Millie" will turn out to be good but not good enough to succeed in the featured article vote. But I want to try it at least.

All contributions from you in this thread would be well appreciated.

Good luck doing that. I read your article (I'm German, too ) and was quite highly impressed.

I'll try and look into finding out what is still missing to make it "excellent"...
Back home in Germany, I always wonder what to write in my signature. Here, I can at least tell you I'm German, and that any mistakes I make in spelling, grammar or other matters are completely natural considering I'm not speaking my mother tongue here.

I like to play Chess, by the way. Not that anyone would care.

Unfortunately, I don't have the time to help out, but its good to know theres an article about O&M . I looked at some of the other furry comics and that Better Days one disturbed me . Never put "Conservative" "furry" and "incest" in the same sentence (not to mention its sort of an oxi-moron with "conservative" and all). The art looks good though (havn't looked at the comic thoguh). Anyway.... Some of those other ones look good....

"Better Days" is certainly the most sickening comic I've looked at in detail. Part of the problem is that it can go a long time without being disturbing (aside from a fair amount of swearing) and then spring a nasty arc on the readers. My biggest mistake was to assume that it was supposed to be funny. I don't remember it being conservative, though, except maybe in gun policy.

And if anyone dares visit the site, stay out of the Velar Archive. It will darken your soul.

I wouldn't be so sure about 'Concervative' and 'Incest' being odd in a sentence together. Provided it's brother/sister rather than brother/brother or sister/sister. I mean, the amount of times a heavy concervative has come out and said that they practiced bestiality while growing up on a farm but gay sex is wrong is slightly desturbing.
