I hope that we can see some new strips soon. Though i have to admit a lot of the questions about some of the strips and storylines have been clarified or answered in the reruns.

"think of it as death"? ... think of it as DEATH! I can't tell you how much is wrong with that.

DCS, if you come in here, could you set BSP straight!

..." DEATH!" come on!

Well, not exactly. But I think of it with the thought that there's not going to be any new material.

There's going to be new strips. Don't worry. Mr. Simpson said that retiring the strip altogether would be too heartbreaking and he knew he'd come back eventually. He'll start new material one of these days, it'll just take a little patience.

The timing of everything was just so perfect, y'know. This board popped up at precisely the perfect time to help us fans ride out the proverbial storm while we wait for the return of new comics. Hm.. it's almost religious, y'know? We get our daily sermons in the morning and quote O&M like it was the Bible, going to favorite passages and preaching it at gatherings, and waiting for the second (Third? Whatever?) coming. They're not dead, just preparing for the triumphant return.

Anami: Sex with a giant, black scorpion seems fun.

<SteveThePocket> Geez. I want more of this stuff now. Now I know how a horny guy on an imageboard feels.

And how we quote them like a Bible, well, at least I do.

I most certainly hope this wont lead to me dressing up as a lamp.

Well, not normally, but one of my sister's friends dressed up as "one nightstand" this Halloween, complete with drawers, a glass of water (actually, gel made to look like water), a picture frame, a lamp with a leopard-print lampshade, and a power supply for the lamp so she can be turned on.

*groans*
