Actually, if you read the matress tag, you'd know this:  <table border='0' align='center' width='95%' ><tr><td class='quotetop'>Quote: (Matress Tag Statement)</td></tr><tr><td class='quotebody'> WARNING! UNDER PENALTY OF LAW, THIS TAG IS NOT TO BE REMOVED EXCEPT BY THE CONSUMER</td></tr></table>  Which means if Lewellyn bought the matress, he would be a consumer, and therefore cannot be penalized by law if he were to remove the mattress tag.
