Personally I don't see the need to examine a strip in such detail. Questions might arise, yes, but why dwell? Talent is as talent does, and so far I've not seen ONE thing in any of the strips (even way back to the start) that needed to be criticized. Some caused curiosity, sure, but you gotta learn...

I study Ancient/Medieval history and early arts and architecture. Mostly stuff from the western world Ya! I'm pretty much a Roman era /medieval freak. 8) or a wont to be time traveler :? Cool. I just wrote a 10-page paper on the use of stained glass in cathedrals, and the theology of stained glass....

So I searched, but I couldn't find a thread like this. If there is one, please direct me there. I was just wondering what everyone here studies or is interested in.

Hey, I dig the artwork, especially the comic strips. Keep it up. This reminds me of something... Your art style is like a combination of early, early Newshounds and early Cerebus. :D I agree. One of my classmates in my Comics and Graphic Novels class gave a presentation on Cerebus a few weeks ago.

Here's a tryout image I did for the Inspector Iroh round robin graphic novel. I'm slated to do the artwork for page 28 when the comic reaches that point.

I really wouldn't call this filler, but I understand that it doesn't have a name. It's artistically and comically worthwhile. Everyone deserves to treat themselves to a single panel strip every once in a while.
