Many years ago, I remember a song on The Kenney Everett Video Show, and it went something like this:
Margaret Thatcher, Margaret Thatcher,
See the way she's lookin' at yer,
High inflation, mortgage squeeze,
Soon you will be on your knees,
But you will vote for her again,
'Cause who the hell wants Tony Benn?
(I didn't know until much later that Tony Benn was an extremist radical politician, but the joke was funny anyway.)
