Re: February 8, 2001: Uniter, not divider
You know, looked at from another perspective it tells the emotional story of a man elected who wants to unite the country and not divide it. But before he can make his mark, the opposition already decides that they'll be taking an antagonistic stance. Unable to see a way to sway them, he matches their antagonism.
On the other other hand, its always good to see Avery hit with a newspaper. Millie must have had one pre-rolled just in case.

Or he claimed he wanted to be a uniter but wasn't really sincere about it.You know, looked at from another perspective it tells the emotional story of a man elected who wants to unite the country and not divide it. Well, yeah. That's the likeliest option. And probably the truest.
But reading too much depth into a comic is occasionally entertaining.
