with a title like "quadruplegia" you'd imagine this would be offensive and funny, but it turns out to be neither :(

Isn't Stephan introduced in this arc? can't we just fast forward to that? :?

Well, the title used to be "Football: the bane of those of us who lack a superhuman amount of testosterone."; does that make it any better?

(Also, I agree that this strip is bleh.)

Not a very good strip at all. Also, 'quadriplegia' is spelled incorrectly. Which is important.

Coach Doorstop has quite excellent balance if he's able to stand like that in the last panel.

He's actually a hand puppet.

I bet if the strip was called Quadrophenia it would be alot more entertaining.

Perhaps he is about to tackle Ozy?

Yay, this arc introduces my least favorite character: Stephan.

Stephen is not one of my favorite characters either but I think I like Locke less.

This is one thing I've come to dislike about O&M: the foil characters are painfully one-dimensional caricatures of groups of people DCS doesn't like. This may be common in cartoons, but, I would expect a little more subtlety in one that has been vaunted as being for the more "intellectual".

This has gotten worse in Raine Dog, where the story is little more than a thinly-veiled vehicle for (and takes a backseat to) DCS showing off her personal/political views.

You know what's even worse than that? Comics about comics.

I don't see what's the meta with them.

Clever. A comedic comment on a complaint about comics about comics.
