Life Sound Track

Postby Arloest » Wed Jun 20, 2007 9:14 pm

OK, this is kinda different for this board, but I find it amusing. Corny, yes, and it doesn't always work, but I still find it amusing. Basically:

What you do is follow the instructions below and then post your answers. It will give you a weird guess of what your life sound track will be. So take my entry and just substitute my songs with the ones of your own and then post.

1. Open your library
2. Put it on shuffle
3. Press play
4. For every question, type the song that's playing
5. When you go to a new question, shuffle again

OK

Opening Credits> Rammstein - Mein Teil (Mmm, cannibalism!)

Waking up> Green Day - Scattered

First Day of School> Anathema - Better Off Dead (Hmm, I was pretty upset my first day of school)

Falling in Love> R.E.M. - Man On The Moon

Fight Song> Tristania - Evenfall

Breaking Up> Iron Maiden - Dance of Death

Prom> Linkin Park - Points of Authority

Life> Lunatica - Introduction

Mental Breakdown> Alice in Chains - Frogs

Driving> Metallica - St. Anger (This is still on my playlist?)

Flashback> Alice In Chains - Sludge Factory

Getting Back Together> Nightwish - Moondance

Wedding> Black Sabbath - Sabbra Cadabra (fun wedding!)

Birth of Child> Eurythmics - Missionary Man (My kid's gonna grow up to be Annie Lennox D:)

Final Battle> Tool - H.

Death Scene> Linkin Park - By Myself

Funeral Song> Anathema - Deep

End Credits> Iron Maiden - Fear is the Key (indeed)

Yeah, it doesn't always work. But sometimes and does, and sometimes when it doesn't, its just funny. We'll see how this one turns out.
Who sleeps shall awake, greeting the shadows from the sun
Who sleeps shall awake, looking through the window of our lives
Waiting for the moment to arrive...
Show us the silence in the rise,
So that we may someday understand...

I did this exact thing last night, but I'll do it again just for kicks.

Opening Credits> Franz Ferdinand - Fabulously Lazy (Teehee.)

Waking up> The Russian Futurists - Incandescent Hearts

First Day of School> Oi-Va-Voi - Pagamenska (How very Hebrew.)

Falling in Love> They Might Be Giants - Stalk of Wheat

Fight Song> Josh Woodward - The Spirit World (Worst Fight Song ever.)

Breaking Up> They Might Be Giants - Don't Let's Start (Demo Version)

Prom> Modest Mouse - Dark Center of the Universe

Life> Fields - Weave a Noose, Burn the Bear

Mental Breakdown> Final Fantasy - An Arrow in the Side of Final Fantasy

Driving> Belle and Sebastian - The Fox in the Snow (This is my favourite song, but I have to admit it wouldn't be great for driving.)

Flashback> Inlets - You Are an Effigy

Getting Back Together> Amusement Parks on Fire - Await Lightning

Wedding> +/- - The Separation of Church and State (Haha. Hahaha. Ha.)

Birth of Child> Wolfmusic - Winter Comes

Final Battle> Mogwai - I Know You Are but What Am I?

Death Scene> Polytechnic - Still Spinning

Funeral Song> Frank Klepacki - Hell March (Ohman. :D)

End Credits> Animal Collective - Loch Raven (Kewl. That'd make a good End Credits song.)

This was actually even worse than last time, and that's saying something. :O

Opening Credits> Social Distortion - 1945 (Live) (Great, starting off with the dropping of an atomic bomb. :S)

Waking up> The Offspring - Come Out Swinging (Seems like a good way to wake up!)

First Day of School> The Offspring - Way Down the Line (It is true that school is just the same thing over and over, with cliques and bullies and all that stuff.)

Falling in Love> The Offspring - All Along (As the song goes "Now I leave here betrayed and broken." ...greeeeeat.)

Fight Song> The Alan Parsons Project - The Eagle Will Rise Again (I have nothing to say about this one. D: )

Breaking Up> Bad Religion - Incomplete (Well without a significant other...I guess I would feel incomplete. Though that's not really what the song is about.)

Prom> Matthew Good Band - Jennie's Song (Really makes no sense in the context of a prom.)

Life> Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds - The Mercy Seat (Would fit more under death scene, as it's about someone who is 'not afraid to die'.)

Mental Breakdown> The Offspring - No Hero (They seem to be popping up alot...anyways this song is about someone who couldn't save his friend from death. Definately might cause someone to breakdown.)

Driving> Matthew Good Band - Indestructable (Hahahahahahahaha.)

Flashback> Ayreon - Day One: Vigil (How perfect is that? Well...maybe if it was Day Seven or Ten; but still.)

Getting Back Together> Bad Religion - Punk Rock Song (Because relationships are ttly hXc.)

Wedding> The Alan Parsons Project - Turn It Up (Ehh...doesn't really fit.)

Birth of Child> Mighty Mighty Bosstones - Sugar Free (Yes, sugar is bad for babies.)

Final Battle> Bad Religion - The Lie (Clearly the lie caused this battle!)

Death Scene> The Sisters of Mercy - First and Last and Always (The First and Last Ibun!)

Funeral Song> Ted Leo & the Pharmacists - The Angels' Share (They sure will have to share me up in heaven.)

End Credits> Social Distortion - Ring of Fire (Live) (Not really an end credit song; but starting and ending with the same band isn't that bad.)
Killin' the first born of lyrical Yul Brynners.

Ok, let's see what sort of goofiness I can generate with this....

Opening Credits> Rolling Stones - Wild Horses (Ok.)

Waking up> Sonny Boy Williamson - Dissastisfied (Accurate enough.)

First Day of School> Bob Dylan - Leopard-Skin Pill-Box Hat (I didn't wear one my first day of school. Maybe my teacher did. :P )

Falling in Love> The Replacements - All Shook Down (Oh goody, something downbeat.)

Fight Song> Mississippi John Hurt - Big Leg Blues (Heh.)

Breaking Up> Lacuna Coil - Soul Into Hades (Appropriate.)

Prom> Tool - Lipan Conjuring (That's one weird-ass prom. It's not even that good of a Tool song.)

Life> Dream Theater - Goodnight Kiss (Awww. How depressing.)

Mental Breakdown> Def Leppard - Miss You In A Heartbeat (Gah. I hate this song - why do I even have it. Oh yeah, I had a mental breakdown. :P )

Driving> Bob Dylan - The Times They Are A-Changin' (Hmm.. the gas prices they are a-risin'.)

Flashback> Pat Benatar - Love Is A Battlefield (Oh come on, it wasn't THAT bad.)

Getting Back Together> Fred McDowell - Keep Your Lamps Trimmed And Burning (That works.)

Wedding> Goldfinger - pants You And Your Cat (Heh.. can you spell "annulment"? I thought you could.)

Birth of Child> Soul Asylum - Can't Even Tell (That's a bad sign.)

Final Battle> Blind Guardian - The Piper's Calling (Nothing like the howl of bagpipes to get one ready to fight to the death.)

Death Scene> Taj Mahal - Frankie & Albert (I shall die as I have lived - violently.)

Funeral Song> Midnight Oil - Sins Of Omission (Hey...)

End Credits> George Thorogood - You Talk Too Much (*snrrk* Thanks George! :D )
