Adventures with Comrade
Moderator:Æron
I'm rather bored, so I have decided to post some pictures from my latest adventure. It's actually kind of ironic, since I was in Toronto the other day, which, if you weren't aware, is the largest city in the country, and I had no internet, and now I am in the absolute middle of nowhere, but there's wireless internet.
Anyway, to start off:
We boarded a turbo-otter in Hearst, which brought us and our numerous supplies to the camp. The guys who had built the camp did a good job on the dock. (I'm the one by the open doors.)
A lot of the drilling stuff was already there, even though the drillers (diamond drillers) weren't yet. Note: Diamond drills are called so because their bits are tipped with diamonds to bite through hard rock, even at several thousand foot depths, not because they drill for diamonds.
And our ride left.
The camp wasn't too bad. It was on what seemed to be the only piece of dry land this side of the lake.
It came with a 5-star restaurant.
And 5-star accommodations.
And a wonderful spa.
Of course, with it's own efficient and environmentally friendly electricity facility.
And no camp would be complete without an internet connection.
So that was that. We did a bit of clearing and what have you and went to bed.
Then today, more of the same, and our chopper, that was supposed to show up yesterday, made its appearance.
That's all for today, but I'm sure the pictures will accumulate as more adventures occur.

Nice. The picture of the shower made me laugh. That, and the ultra-soft "mat" in front of it.
Astro> gforce's smiles can cure cancer in kittensgforce422 is awesome because:
-He made the absolute nicest comments about me in the other topic. I didn't respond to them yet, because I suck, but they are greatly appreciated! =D
-I would say he would also be a good runner up as one of the nicest people alive.
-He joined the IRC sometimes. But not enough, I say! Chat moar =D
-He is evidently only 18 year old but he could easily pass for 25. =D
-He is a drummer like *I* am and this in itself is cool.

Wow, what a fur-cornered layout you have. Only thing I can see wrong with it is it looks like you get woken up pretty early because the roof is so transparent... ^^

Cameron is awesome because:
-Because he has an artistic style that is both complex and minimalist. This is profound!
-He once drew me as a roadrunner. It was an actual honest to god feral roadrunner, but a roadrunner nonetheless!
-He lives in Idaho among the wilderness and stuff and I envy him for that. 3:
-He is probably one of the most personable artists on here.
-I think he's the only one of us on here who drew a fanart that made it as a guest strip on O&M. This is an accomplishment!

Out on the prairie one bright starry night,
They broke the whiskey and Betsy got tight.
She sang and she shouted and danced o'er the plain
And showed her bare arse to the whole wagon train.
