I've lived in Washington most of my life and I don't think I've ever heard those pronunciations, at least not in any widespread way.Though only a few dozen miles away, Vancouver, Washington is more Canadian than Portland. In fact, Portland isn't Canadian at all. Washingtonians say some words like Canadians like bayg and flayg.
