That's what I meant. It wouldn't work anymore, with Locke being Ozy and Millie's age, and people would look at them oddly. There's love just not the kind that they once had.Yeah, because there's really no love between Locke and Mililani anymore...
Now, if Locke had found some way to become an adult again, this might go in a different direction. But things will end peacefully. And that's OK.
The end is nigh!
This is how the next strip should be, except in their wedding attire.lol i bet he's going to stab Llwellin with his sword and it's going to bend in half. god i would lol at that.

There's a lot of hidden meanings here. It took me a few times to get it.
Look at how angry Locke is when he says, "You could've invited me." He's actually saying, "You could've married me."
Ms. Mudd's reply, "You live on a ship. I didn't know how to reach you." is actually, "You're never around. I'm not in love with you anymore."
Also, "I didn't know how to reach you." seems to have more than one meaning.
Now, with all that in mind, look at Locke's expressions that follow. He is coming to the conclusion that he and Ms. Mudd can never be together. Hence why he asks Lew if he loves her.
Lew's reply is serious which is rare for him. Locke will now allow the ceremony to continue as he knows his family will be well taken care of.
A great way to wrap up this particular loose end, IMHO.

True that. What most seem to have misunderstood about my wanting them together is that I meant for Locke to have found some way to be an adult again. Which isn't impossible just improbable. That's what I meant. It wouldn't work anymore, with Locke being Ozy and Millie's age, and people would look at them oddly.
I... don't think so.There's a lot of hidden meanings here. It took me a few times to get it.

Who sleeps shall awake, greeting the shadows from the sun
Who sleeps shall awake, looking through the window of our lives
Waiting for the moment to arrive...
Show us the silence in the rise,
So that we may someday understand...

I think that cougartiger is either a TMBG fan, or should be one.

Anyway, I like this strip. Hidden meanings or not, it's very emotional which I wasn't expecting.
I've been too hard on this storyline. Sure, the beginning was a bit choppy but it didn't deserve the comments I made. I apologize.
Also, I never meant to come off as pushy or anything. I apologize for that as well.
