but that particular kind of skirt, cougar, is rather immature. My point is that it is in fact not showing that she is more mature in her clothing choices.

OK. Got it. Now that I look at it with your thoughts in mind, I have to agree. In fact, it looks similar to what some girls wore in my elementary school now that I think about it.

I hear DCS is planning to sell the rights of Ozy and Millie to a big comics syndicate to be drawn by half a dozen improvished art students who long ago sold their creativity and imagination to the company, slaving away, churning out bland strip after strip in a room with minimal natural light and that this redesign is part of the drive to make the comic more newspaper and kid friendly.
They'd better hurry. The newspaper industry doesn't have much longer to live.

Considering how newspapers seem to be dying, that'd be a bit of a stretch.

EDIT: Already said by someone else ten days ago. I'm really on the ball.

I hope this is just something she did rather then how any new stories are going to look. These designs look more simplistic and generic then the old ones.

I don't get why everyone's worked up about him changing the appearence of them.

I mean, it's not like he's going to go back and re-draw the old strips.

She.
She screams in silence
a Sullen riot penitrating through her mind
Waiting for a sign
To smash the silence with the brick of self-control

Are you locked up in a world
Thats been planned out for you
Are you feeling like a social tool without a use

Scream at me until my ears bleed
I'm taking heed just for you
She.
She's figured out
All her doubts were someone else's point of view
Waking up this time
To smash the silence with the brick of self-control

Are you locked up in a world
Thats been planned out for you
Are you feeling like a social tool without a use

Scream at me until my ears bleed
I'm taking heed just for you
