Here's some hope.

Well I was checking out the old site when I saw this message from Simpson.

February 3, 2009: What's to come
I'll be starting the first of several longer-form "Ozy and Millie" comic book style stories here in a couple of months. Between now and then, expect some artwork and some colored strips.

Yay! Can't wait for the books!

sounds pretty boring. She should focus on the new strip now

The two strips are very different. So, I suppose that DCS feels at home in both strips, and may want to work within both of them.
Just a hypothesis.

I don't know, working on two stories at once can be a bit overwhelming. Well, I'm looking forward to the return of O&M at least. Even if the updates may be sporadic, and it hasn't even been gone that long.

I am pretty sure this is not what Barack had in mind.

Is her political comic still going?

There's a lot of examples in both syndicated and online comics of artists keeping two strips going. I suppose you would need the time to work it all out tohugh.

Nope. It was dead for months, then explicitly ended a bit ago.

I think the blog's done too, I checked out the website the other day and he said he felt like now that the liberal blogosphere has matured, he's just another boring commie complaining about the government so he's going to do better things with his time

he's just another boring hippy complaining about the government
To be fair, that was always my opinion on I Drew This. The humour was really obvious, the point whiney, and the message lost through drivvel.

That said, I'm liking Rain Dog so far...although I have a feeling it's going to get into realms of things I'm trying to tackle in my new strip...so we'll see what happens, eh?

I'm just happy that it HASN'T ended... If she makes it a prequel I'll kill her.

He's so tired of divisive exchange and he's got one or two things to say about change. Like, the change we must change to the change we hold dear. He really likes change, have I made myself clear?

I think that guy who does Kevin and Kell does three strips. He just does them in cycles, works on one comic for a few weeks until he has all he needs then works on the next
