If they age backwards then their brain would too, resulting in them being more intelligent as they grow younger. He should have pretty good recall of what he was like, and did, 10 years ago.
I've read that the human brain stops growing and starts shrinking at age 18. That may have something to do with it.

Maybe we'll never know if Millie ages in reverse until she gets old and has a chance to get young again.

That would be unlikely. She will continue to age forwards unless, she goes to live in Locke's world where the laws of that universe would eventually affect her. That's my theory anyway.

BTW, loved the O&M strips you did a while back. Great stuff!

Well, I was just basing my thinking on the Buck Rogers episode I mentioned. The "child" in that episode had the intelligence of an adult.

DCS has established that the children run Locke's world which they would be unable to do if their minds were, well, childlike. Locke himself does seem to have adult intelligence as when he aced Millie's math test and is also the captain of a pirate ship.

In my poem, The Pirate's Tale, Locke is knocked out during a violent storm at sea. When he recovers his memory is severly scattered. That's my attempt at explaining things anyway.

It's not like it hasn't been done before. Heck, I made one for an English project last year.

A comforting thought.

Hmm. Is there any evidence of Millie maybe having somewhat stunted growth? Maybe she just ages slower due to Locke and Ms. Mudd's combined aging processes. Just an idea, most likely a really bad one, since I personally have no evidence to back it up, nor really believe it myself. :v

you're close, but I think I just figured it out!

Millie doesn't age! think about it: aside from the two-year increase due to the "great style change of 2000", millie hasn't aged one bit. Why? because her mother ages forward, and her father ages backward.

And then the aura surrounding her prevents her fellow friends and classmates from aging as well.

Brilliant!

I'm glad to see one of my earlier post to be brought up again. Although I don't think that "Does Millie listen to SoaD" thread is coming back anytime soon.

Wouldn't, by that logic, Millie be some kind of embryo then?
