The Alternate Wedding

This kinda got buried in the other wedding thread and I thought it deserved it's own thread. So, here's the wedding portrait I commissioned from DCS. Enjoy!

DCS should've ended the comic a year or two ago.

And for once, Millie looks happy in a dress.

And for once, Millie looks happy in a dress.
And rather out-of-place as a result.

Still a great image though.

Actually, she seems to be happy her parents got married.

I gave DCS no instructions for this commission other than a basic description of what I wanted. More fun for him and more of a surprise for me!

BTW, I like the dress here MUCH better than the one DCS has her in now.

Well, sure. I was just saying that the dress didn't spoil her mood.

What I meant was that since it was her parents getting married (as opposed to Ms. Mudd and Lewellyn) she didn't mind wearing the dress. That's how I see it anyway.

Something I just noticed: DCS made Millie's fur the same color as Locke's. I noticed she did the same with the new commission I had done. Kinda neat that Millie got her fur color from her dad.

The details in the portrait are really something. Ozy is looking at Millie who is looking at her mom who is looking at Locke who is looking at her. The ring of flowers on Millie's tail, Locke's sly look at his bride. I love this more every time I look at it.

Nice. It's kinda hard though accepting Millie looking happy in a dress. I'm sure though that an agreement was reached between her and Ms. Mudd that allows her to burn it once the wedding is done.

Something i just noticed:

1: Ms.mudd is way flat chested than you usually see on the strip.
2: The black part of Ms.mudd's paw is higher than usual.

About the fur colour, What i find weird is. In the daily strip, Millie don't have the same fur colour as Locke' and Ms.mudd's colour is lighter than usual, even her hair is 6x lighter.

When has Locke ever appeared in color within the comic? The cast page image doesn't count.

And Chris, I wouldn't say she's "way" flatter. She was never all that voluptuous.
