Ozy vs. Millie

Postby Simba Cub » Thu May 15, 2008 5:44 pm

Apologies if this has been brought up before, I found nothing on a cursory search...

Which out of Ozy and Millie do you consider to be the hero or heroine? Ozy? Millie? Both equally? I tend to think Ozy, but only just.

They both are, in their own way.

It's definitely a team effort. However, the strips WAS almost titled simply "Millie."

I probably can't answer this question fairly due to my nearly blinding bias towards Ozy over Millie.

Who sleeps shall awake, looking through the window of our lives
Waiting for the moment to arrive...
Show us the silence in the rise,
So that we may someday understand...

I'm gonna go with "both equally" here. I'm usually not one for making decisions, heh.

Well Millie could probably beat Ozy in a straight up fight but really it would depend on who rolled the best initiative.

Hard to tell most of the time. It seems that it's about Millie doing weird stuff and Ozy watching and perhaps doing weird stuff... ?

Tough call but I'd have to say Millie. Always admire folks who ain't afraid to say what they think.

In spite of what I said earlier, I see Ozy as the secondary character. Millie is the one who gets up to all these crazy antics, and Ozy follows her around and joins in. It's very rare to see Ozy come up with an adventure; he is more of the voice of reason and the means of execution.

Yet, the strip is called "Ozy and Millie", not "Millie and Ozy"...
