WTF?"The alligator was taken into custody," police said in a statement. Authorities soon found it had escaped from a small circus being staged at a nearby school. The alligator was later handed over to school officials.

Re: What y'all look like
http://www.northjersey.com/community/history/more_history_news/98580629_Local_archaeological_dig_ongoing.html Heres the article relating to it (I'm in a local paper ). Don't trust what the journalist put there, its rather shoddy journalism. The Nanticoke Lenni Lenape weren't the tribe that liv...

Re: New Roadrunner - Coyote short
Eh, I'm a pessimist :-P . But, that did look like a worthy effort and seems like it could be watchable. My only caveat? The CGI that everyone is obsessed with. Its like they treat it as an improvement over hand-drawn rather than as something entirely different. This just solidifies the fact that han...

This is my favorite, because for some reason I always enjoy the idea of monks/priests/nuns being spontaneous. It gives them that necessary human quality, I am so overjoyed right now .

Re: I saw a fox today
It's not just killer foxes we have to worry about here in the UK, we also have that known man-eating species that prowl the wilderness. Yes, despite Cardinal Akbar's warning. Don't fret, the Jedi have agents in convents... I believe they call them Bene Gesserit. I've heard they are going to Gom Jabbar him in his sleep. But isn't Palpatine the pope now?

Re: I saw a fox today
I see deer on a regular basis, they come on the front lawn pretty often. Saw a young buck calmly nibbling the tips of flowers out front not to long ago. Groundhogs I see fairly often as well, not alive in my yard, I've only seen the dead ones my dogs kill there. Sparky has been suplimenting his diet...

Re: Summer is nigh!
During the school year, I have a life. During summer I am free to enjoy the prosperity of lacking a life. I feel the same way, even the people I consider friends I'm almost completely cut off from. You're going to be in his room for the majority of the summer? Is he going to have you chained up in ...

Re: Popular entertainment you liked (or didn't)?
Caoimhin, you should see Blackadder seasons 3 and 4. Hugh Laurie has a costarring role and is why I can't watch House and take it seriously. I'm aware of that. I've also seen Black Adder's Christmas Carol and remember him in one of his roles. I'm pretty sure I'll be able to stream the series soon o...

Re: Popular entertainment you liked (or didn't)?
Probably the most overrated TV sitcom is Fawlty Towers , and I suspect its popularity is only because John Cleese was in it. He can be very funny, but in this show he basically overacted and screamed like a banshee, and I thought the show silly rather than clever. Fawlty Towers is an excellent sitc...

Re: UK Election 2010
Mark my words, there'll be another election within a year which will hurt my country's reputation of being stable. Not being able to oust your leaders and vote for new ones isn't what its cracked up to be  . I don't have any opinion on the actual election, but I do love what I understand abou...
